Hi again! Sorry for all the new guy questions, I'm just excited to get some good discussions going. Big Grin

When talking about electric radiant products I have some confusion about what some of the terms mean.

Some electric radiant elements (correct term??) use wires, some use mesh. I follow that... just passing the current through to make them hot like wires in the toaster.

So what exactly does line-voltage mean? Are all electric radiants line-voltage? Is that different from low-voltage? If so, what are the advantages and disadvantages of them?

Is one type better than another?

Thanks again for sharing the info!
