It's been a long time since Ive beeen here. Don't know why. This is a GREAT recource for info.

Thinking about trying the new "Engineered Plastic (EP) Heating Manifolds "successfully installed throughout Europe for the past 5 years."

Someone, Eh-hmmm,,, told me to watch the ratings: 140 deg @87 PSI. - 158 deg @72 PSI, ETC.

I don't mind being on the cutting edge. What hurts, is being on the bleeding edge.
What am I missing? They are a bit less $ too.

How you been!

I just recently installed my first two EP manifolds yesterday. I too am used to the truflow brass manifolds, but can't get them any more.

Time will tell.

I was concerned for systems that might be high temp, and I didn't remember what the ratings were.. just that there could conceivably be hit in some systems.

if you did baseboard in an open system, for example. or a tall building.

but in general they seem interesting. certainly snazzy looking.
