I have an orchid greenhouse (15 x15) installed on an older wood deck. The wood under the greenhouse has rotted from water seepage over the past 15 years. I'll be rebuilding the deck and reinstalling the the greenhouse. I am thinking of surfacing the greenhouse floor with gypcrete and perhaps a radiant heating system.
Whatever the flooring, it must be something that 1) won't leak 2) will handle the high humidity and water 3) if radiant heat, will create a uniform, gentle heat for the orchids. Any thoughts, experience and insights will be appreciated.

Is the "deck" somewhat high above ground level? In which climatic zone are you located? Do you intend to replace the structural components of the deck or just the decking itself?

Thanks for responding. Totally replacing deck/ decking and support structure. We're in climatic zone 6 (PA). the deck is 3-6 feet above grade.
