Hello! I'd love your advice regarding the following. We're planning to install a hydronic radiant heat floor in our home as part of a remodel. We live in Northern California, where it never gets really cold but it's always a little chilly. We're debating putting in a Pergo floor in the living area and carpet in the bedrooms, versus sealing and staining the concrete. We're wondering about the efficiency of a radiant heat floor heating through pergo or carpet versus concrete. We like the look of the pergo/carpet but don't want to put in an efficient system and then set it up to be inefficient. Any thoughts?
